The Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center (WMCTC) is located in the beautiful Northern Michigan city of Cadillac. Each year the WMCTC serves approximately 600 juniors, seniors and adult students from seven public school districts and 2 parochial schools within a three county area. Students who attend the WMCTC have an opportunity to explore and train for career options in one of thirteen programs to help them prepare for career success after high school whether it is college, employment or the military.
WMCTC courses are hands-on with academic training in ACT Work Keys for Applied Math, Reading for Information and Locating Information. To assist students with preparation for college, the CTC offers dual enrollment credits. As part of the curriculum in each program, students earn four college credits at the completion of their senior year. These credits are awarded to students who successfully complete their coursework free of charge.
