On October 3, 2005, I assumed the role of superintendent for the Wexford-Missaukee ISD. Prior to coming to the ISD, I had served as superintendent of the Montabella Community Schools in Edmore for more than four years. My professional background has extensive ISD experience, including ten years as a Director of Career Technical Education and more than twenty years of work with the Montcalm Area, Gratiot-Isabella Regional, and Ionia County ISD’s. I can say from experience that Wexford-Missaukee ISD has an outstanding state-wide reputation for quality services. It is our intent to build on this base of excellence. We look to expand local and regional Educational services and collaborative efforts. We will measure our success through the provision of outstanding services for the children of our constituent school districts.
The role of an effective ISD today is to foster effective collaboration between schools, Educators, parents, agencies, and business so that children are served in a more cost effective and efficient manner. These collaborative efforts must utilize best practice models for effective instruction, they must be data driven and they must benefit all parties involved. Our biggest challenge is to continually improve Education services resulting in progressive student achievement.
Welcome to our ISD webpage and related links. We hope you find it valuable, dynamic and something you will reference often. Feel free to call or email me with your thoughts on this or any other services of the Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District.
