The writing coach’s training is designed to improve student writing by helping teachers and schools create and implement a consistent writing program for their building. Coaches will be trained as trainers for their building.

How are your teachers doing on creating exciting 7 element lessons?
Do your grade levels have common FCA's that are repeated sufficiently until most students are capable of that skill?
Are the FCA's clear and targeted to the skill area of the GLCEs and HSCEs that are assessed state-wide?
Is time built into the school calendar for teachers to have time for professional development in writing provided by the coaches, Liz and or Mark Dressel?
