The personal curriculum (PC) is a documented process that modifies certain requirements of the Michigan Merit Curriculum.

The PC, requested by the parent or legal guardian, allows the board of a school district to award a high school diploma providing the student completes the PC, including as many of the content expectations of the MMC as practicable.
