 REMC 2 Region...

REMC 2 South is located in the WMISD General Education building and is part of REMC 2 which includes REMC 2 North at Charlevoix-Emmet ISD and REMC 2 Central at Traverse Bay Area ISD.

REMC centers provide instructional materials and support services to public and non-public K-12 schools.  REMC 2 South 's main service area includes local districts within the Wexford-Missaukee and Mecosta-Osceola ISDs.  This area encompasses 65+ buildings and over 1300 teachers.

 Podcasting With Mike Arnold

Mike Arnold presented a video conference for our local technology representatives. Mike is a Regional Educational Media Center (regions 3 & 9) Professional Development Specialist.  He has a Bachelor’s degree from Alma College in Biology and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from CMU.  He taught for 6 years in public high schools and joined the REMC 3 & 9 team in 2001.  Currently, Mike is involved in video production, website development, professional development and media center supervision.
