Aligned with Michigan School Improvement Framework
Target Area 1:
Teaching and Learning
Integrate the Michigan Educational Technology Standards
into all areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment for all users (teachers
and students).
Goal 1.1: Curriculum Support
Resources
Remain up to date on technological advances in both
hardware and software used for curriculum delivery and provide those resources
to all users (students, teachers, and parents).
Goal 1.2: Communication
Establish methods for communicating information and
scientifically researched strategies for integrating technology into instruction
to improve student achievement and help all students become technology literate.
Target Area 2:
Leadership
Support technology enhanced education/instructional
programs, as well as supporting the infrastructure, computer and
telecommunication equipment necessary to meet or exceed the technology
application standards of the campus and local school districts.

Leadership
Coordinate funding resources to support the acquisition and
implementation of technology that aligns with and supports the Michigan
Curriculum Framework
Goal 2.2: Operational Resource
Management
Evaluate network and workstation capabilities annually and
upgraded as appropriate to supply enhanced connectivity to students and staff.
Movement of technology within the district will be determined on a needs-basis
(the most appropriate technology for the situation).

Personnel & Professional Development
Train and support all learners (staff, students, community)
is the application and the evaluation of technology.
Goal 3.1: Personnel
Qualifications
Support in-service efforts by providing training and
resources (newsletters, websites) to all users.
Goal 3.2: Professional
Learning
Build on the Technology Standards for students by
implementing the use of the ISTE NETS for Teachers and Administrators to guide
staff training.
Target Area 4:
School & Community Relations
Enhance and support communication systems (email, VoIP,
webpages) as well as parent access to critical information both on campus and in
conjunction with our local districts.
Goal 4.1: Parent/Family
Involvement
Coordinate substantive communication with parents and the
community both on campus and in conjunction with local districts.
Goal 4.2: Support for Local
Districts
Facilitate planning and implementation of a regional
technology plan. This plan should include recommendations for increased
capacity, resource sharing and cost saving measures (such as cooperative bids).
Target Area 5:
Data & Information Management
Establish policies for the generation, collection, storage
and retrieval of data.
Goal 5.1: Data Management
Launch a data mart to house demographic, assessment and
financial data from each local district.
Goal 5.2: Information
Management
Institute a secure process for teachers, administrators and
parents to view relevant data from the data mart.
