I want to
welcome all of you to Pupil Accounting and for an exciting 2008-2009 school year. For anyone that is new
this site, this site is designed to provide
you with answers to frequently asked questions and links to websites with information
to help make your job easier.
As you have all been hearing
there is a new system coming into play in the reporting of Pupil Accounting -
Michigan School Data System (MSDS) the new SRSD. Please keep watch for all email
forwarded to you regarding the changes. This will be an exciting year with all
the upcoming changes in Pupil Accounting.
I have scheduled monthly meetings, so mark you
calendars (Dates all listed below). The two most important meeting dates are
September 17, 2009
and January 20, 2010. These two meetings
are scheduled to review Pupil Accounts forms and
discuss findings from the previous audit. The rest of the
planned meetings are set up to discuss any changes that have happened or going
to be happening in Pupil
Accounting and give you time to ask questions on issues that happen in
your offices (registration, suspensions, student management system, etc.) All
meeting dates will have an agenda attached closer to each meeting date. If there
is a topic that you feel needs discussed, please contact me so we can get it on
the agenda.
If you are not from the WMISD area and wish
to attend the meetings, please feel free. I will have all of the meetings set up
to do online registration and would appreciate it if you would pre-register.

For the 2008 - 2009 School year, Pupil Accounting Count Days are Wednesday,
September 30, 2009,
February 10, 2010 and
June 30, 2010.
All SRSD Data and notebooks are due to the ISD by
Wednesday, November 4, 2009
for the September Count and Wednesday, March 17, 2010 for the February count.
